Fornasari’s new Racing Buggy is FAST: 62mph in 3.8 seconds
Each of us has a different take on what the ultimate vehicle should be. Despite the vastness of qualities and technology available today, Fornasari’s new Racing Buggy can be considered a “fair attempt” in pinning down the qualities of what should be considered as the “ultimate vehicle.” However, the design could do some work.
Packed with a 610hp of power, AWD system that comes with a 60% rear bias, and patterned after an RR600 chassis, the Fornasari Racing Buggy gets a bigger chance in bugging out the competitors.
While the computer generated rendition of the Racing Buggy is sure to race a few eyebrows, take not that this buggy can sit five people and is. You might also be surprised to know that this buggy is aimed to be luxurious and road legal in qualities. In Europe, it is estimated to the get a price tag somewhere near €80,000, according to Fornasari. However, production date and availability are issues yet to be discussed.
It sure is a big vehicle! It measures 6ft (1.85m) tall, 17ft (5.20m) long, and 7ft (2.15m) wide. It’s heavy as well, in 3,500lb. But hey it’s amazingly fast at 62mph in 3.8 seconds. That’s almost the speed of a Corvette ZR1.
This fast beast is powered with a General Motor’s 7.0L V8 engine with 610hp and 552lb-ft of torque. It’s AWD system and Dana 44 rear adds more durability and power boost. It doesn’t matter if you’ll opt for the manual 6-speed type of the automatic version, because these specs are very rare to large SUVs.
It’s not your everyday exotic car – but it’s…. something exciting none the less!
